This cosy little townhouse is tucked away in the countryside near Malaga. When we first saw it, it had more walls than windows.

Even though it is in one of the sunniest parts of Spain, the inside felt a bit dark and closed in. The owners wanted to bring more life

into the space without losing the rural charm. They asked us to brighten it up but still keep the character and history of the house visible.

The top terrace was unusable, so we focused on making it safe and solid again. Now it is a

proper outdoor spot where they can sit back, enjoy the sunshine, and take in the peaceful surroundings.
